The interdisciplinary value of truth as a principle of criminal, criminalprocedural and investigative law in the context of the christian legal culture
Ancient Biblical ideas of a sacred, moral and legal sense of truth are being considered in the article as a guarantee of disclosure, objective investigation and appropriate qualification of crimes through the basic provisions of contemporary criminal, criminal procedural and investigative laws. The author shows their importance for the legal systems, formed under the influence of religious and ethical ideas of Christianity, and defines their role in the formation of legal consciousness of citizens in modern conditions. Historical parallels are held with the principles and norms of the Russian criminal substantive and criminal procedural law and investigative law.
